My Story
My little boy surprised us by arriving a month early, which truly turned our world upside down—but in the best way possible. With his early arrival, my husband and I found ourselves unprepared. We faced additional challenges as he dealt with some initial health concerns. To ensure he got the best nutrition, we decided to supplement breastfeeding with formula, allowing him to enjoy the benefits of both.

This experience made me realize the importance of changing my habits to be a better version of myself. After his one-month check-up, I promised myself to make significant lifestyle changes. My husband and I embarked on a journey of eating whole foods and incorporating exercise into our lives. But don't worry—this isn't a blog about eating healthy and exercising. It's about the joys and benefits of preparing homemade meals and gardening.

Being on leave, I began creating simple meals that would serve us well when I returned to work. Like many, my husband and I used to enjoy takeout or dining out frequently. However, introducing a baby into our lives brought about a change in priorities. The costs of raising a child quickly became apparent, leading us to adopt a more budget-conscious approach.

Preparing meals from scratch not only helped us save money but also allowed us to avoid the added sugars, salts, and preservatives commonly found in store-bought foods. Now, I'm excited to share some of our favorite homemade recipes with you.
